A Tale of Two Calorimetries

Yarn is 2ply handspun from CMF SW Merino "Love Me Tender". Spindle spun 2? years ago. This stuff failed its' sock test: fabric too stiff . Failed its' garter mitred square test: not enough definition. It wanted to be 2/2 ribbing. Mindful of all the problems reported, I went down to #7 for the bottom one, otherwise did as written. 16" x 6"" unstretched. The top one is on #6, 5 3/4" x 15 1/2". Each one took about 75 yds. I like the fabric better on #6 and it fits the average head well. The colors are like polished jasper. It would have made an awesome scarf but I only have 8 oz. Still might frog these and do that.

Oh no....please don't frog it. Gorgeous colours, especially for fall. You'll just have to spin more and make a scarf to match.
